The primary wheel nut piece is manufactured from stainless steel. This piece installs on the stud and features slots for key removal and installation. Why stainless steel? It’s strong, heavy, and durable.
The secondary piece is manufactured from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. This is true 6061-T6. The secondary piece will not break given that the primary piece takes all the pressure.
*Adapters to the Secondary Piece will be coming out soon, such as Spike Design, plus new designs we are manufacturing and testing. These are the base lug nuts needed for the future adapters.
